One of things that sets us apart at Ripe is that all our facilitators do more than just train. Each of them runs their own business in areas as diverse as marketing, professional writing, entertainment and interior design. This means they bring their real life skills in communication, sales, customer service, branding and presentation with them. The common thread is that they are all ripe, and bursting to share their knowledge with you.

Lynne Schinella, Founder & CEO

Lynne Schinella is an expert in understanding and handling diversity.

She was born to an Aussie father and an Indian mother who grew up in an orphanage in the Himalayas, and was originally refused entry into Australia under the White Australia policy. Lynne grew up amongst an influx of Mediterranean Europeans but soon married an American who had a Zuni Indian mother and an Italian POW father.

She has never been a stranger to diversity and discovered its great power early on in life.

Ten years in the travel industry saw Lynne working with a range of cultures and religions rich in eclectic experience.

She studied how the Tahitians, French and Chinese have carved out an existence together when she lived in Tahiti for three years.

In 1989 she founded Schinella Incentives, an organisation which developed programmes to help improve team’s performance. Over the next ten years she saw that the most successful teams were the most diverse, able to acknowledge their differences and build on their strengths.

So when Lynne established Ripe Learning in 2001, it was natural her workshops and keynotes had a strong message of understanding and celebrating our differences, whether personality, gender, culture or generation.

Delivered with Lynne’s greatest strength; her relaxed informal style and ability to engage, her keynotes and workshop presentations will show you how to respect and connect with those not like yourself, for a happier, less stressful and more productive life.

Terry Brogan, Facilitator

Who better to teach presentation skills that a singer/songwriter/actor who also happens to run his own international marketing consultancy?

Terry’s expertise in marketing has seen him run Trade Winds Marketing with his business partner for 15 years and travelling the world he presents to boards, sales teams and conferences. And when he does he calls on his passion for being a front man and making his audience listen to him.

He’s managed a Southern Comfort ad in New Orleans, starred in One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest, played at the legendary Basement, released a CD and owned a nightclub in Kings Cross so he’s had loads of experience with different types of audiences.

His energy and passion for making messages stick has become an obsession and he brings a unique perspective and skill when training others to present in public. The same passion drives his own high benchmark: that everyone leaves his workshop a better presenter than when they came in.

And after a stellar career spanning 30 years  she eventually left the corporate world to start up a property development and interior design company.

She loves design with a difference and her work requires her to work with a wide range of clients where she can use her exemplary skills in sales, service, negotiation and handling difficult people.

And now she can share those skills with you. Rare to find a trainer who is both structured and nurturing, learn from the best with Kim.
